Usual stay is for 48 hours after the operation. During the stay your nose will be packed. You will be breathing through your mouth. Usually, warm liquids is the best intake. After 48 hours the packs are gently removed and you can breathe comfortably through nose.
WILL THERE BE PLASTER ON THE NOSE ? HOW LONG WILL IT STAY ?
If we have worked on the bone, there will be plaster on the nose that will stay for 7 days at least. There can be swelling around eyes and bruising. This also goes away over time. The plaster may continue then at night. Sometimes a light splint or only taping may be done in limited cases.
